By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Compare and contrast clinical features of nonepileptiform seizures from epileptiform seizures
2. Determine the best approach to speaking with the patient and caregivers about functional neurological disorders.  
3. Identify strategies for the management of patients in the ED with functional neurological disorders
4. Identify the stigma associated with these diagnoses and how best to advocate for these patients in the ED.
