At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:

1. Critically analyze the process of prehospital care to regional ED care of the critically ill infant.

2. Identify the nursing goals of care for the infant in an altered level of consciousness in the ED.

3. Compare and contrast strategies on optimal management of the infant in altered level of consciousness in the ED.
