By end of this session, participants will be able to:

1. Understand the process of prehospital care to regional ED care of the critically ill adolescent trauma patient.

2. Determine management strategies on how best to transport the critically ill trauma adolescent patient to a pediatric trauma centre or tertiary care centre.

3. Identify complications of the critically adolescent trauma patient during transport.

4. Compare and contrast strategies on optimal management of the critically adolescent trauma patient in the tertiary care trauma centre.
