By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Compare and contrast clinical features of nonepileptiform seizures from epileptiform seizures
- Determine the best approach to speaking with the patient and caregivers about functional neurological disorders.
- Identify strategies for the management of patients in the ED with functional neurological disorders
- Identify the stigma associated with these diagnoses and how best to advocate for these patients in the ED.
