At the conclusion of this presentation, participants will be able to:
1. Identify the criteria for a febrile young infant and the role of a serious bacterial infection.
2. Compare and contrast the guidelines for the management of the febrile young infant.
3. Develop an optimal approach to the management of the febrile young infant that is relevant to our provincial and regional patient population.
